Day 2

We are still on route to our first trip event in Williamstown MA.  280 miles, much of it with some sort of construction, and some very nasty uneven pavement (mental note to myself new shocks when I return).  On the way up on route 64 in VA we saw a back up of traffic, miles long southbound due to construction.  It was literally a "parking lot"

Our campground Lehigh Gorge, is located in White Haven, PA.  It is an older, heavily wooded campground, with some very narrow park roads.  Ad said park had "big rig" sites and lots of room.  I guess big means something around 34 feet, cause our hangs over the boundary of their largest site.  We arrived early afternoon so we could take care of some housekeeping and "veg" out.

If you are ever by this  way check out the White Haven Family Diner.  Classic "rail car" look, lots of stainless and a menu for the hungry.  If you are looking for "low" anything you might want to skip this place.

Famous  for their huge pancakes and good down home food, we ate breakfast there before we left for Williamstown.
