We traveled to the KOA campground on Monday July 11th, short hop of about 200 miles. This campground, located in Middleboro, MA. Conveniently located about midpoint between Boston, Cape Cod, and Providence RI.
We had intended to go into Boston on Tuesday, but the weather was so hot here, 95+ we elected to drive down to the cape instead. We had been to Cape Cod in 2003 so we decided to complete a couple of items we missed on the First trip.
One was having an ice cream at "Four Seas" stand in Centerville Cape Cod. This place is world famous, rich, thick, reasonably priced.
Since we had already had our desert, we decided to have dinner at Baxters Boat House so Barbara could get her lobster fix.
The building with the windmill is The Christmas Tree Shop, Barbara can't come here unless it includes a shopping spree there. Only took us 90 minutes of getting lost to find it. Despite it's name, it sells virtually every close out item you can imagine, from decorations to kitchen appliances.
We may head to Rhode Island Wednesday so we can add that state to our "where we have been" Map.
