After our wonderful Alaska Tour in 2009 we decided to take a break. In 2010 we stayed close to home doing two Habitat builds and a couple of Bluegrass events.
Although we had been to New England back in 2004, the incoming hurricane cut our trip short.
This trip will include the following:
A pre-wedding celebration in Williamstown Mass, Barbara's cousin Beverly's grandchild will have the official ceremony in Australia, this will be for those who cannot make the trip. We will be staying in a campground across the border in Vermont.
Southern Maine
Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
Prince Edward Island
Quebec
Montreal
Toronto
Cleveland (we will spend a week with family and friends)
As of this writing we plan to leave Fort Mill July 5th, and return home early Sept.
Friends of ours, the Voss’ have helped us plan the Maritime and Maine portion of the trip. Having lived in both they are an invaluable resource.
We had considered another RV tour, but it turned out it was more expensive than the Alaska Adventure, and the route would leave us back in Maine, That would add significant mileage to the trip.
