We had the glass on the Jeep repaired, but dents will have to wait till we return. Body shops around here have simply stopped taking in cars trying to catch up on the backlog.
I have been able to repair the Motor home roof damage, a new skylight (lexan) and lots of fiberglass mat, bondo and paint.
We are finalizing roofing quotations on the house and finding that State Farm's allowance is low. I know they will make good, but the process is very slow. With any luck we should pick a contractor next week and hopefully get the roof repair done before end of June.
Considering what has taken place in the Midwest and south we are counting our blessings, we have a roof over our head and our loved ones and friends are safe.

Some "bumps" in the road
It is May 23rd and we are still not sure we will be able to take our trip. On April 9th a storm moved through the Carolina's, dropping a lot of rain and golf ball size hail. Barb's car was under cover, but my Jeep (our tow car) was pummeled, breaking the windshield, sunroof, and leaving dents all over the hood and roof. In addition virtually all the plastic covers on the RV top were shattered, including the skylight over the shower. We were lucky, the skylight was over the shower, all the water rain down the drain!. Our home's roof was totaled and needs to be re shingled.
